1935

As part of my working process I observe and research the many reciprocal effects between (geometric) bodies, material, and space.

Structure, smoothness, roughness, montage, visible signs of the physical material of clay support the stimulating interplay of surfaces, curves and edges. After seeing internet reports during the 2016 Olympics I became interested in the favelas in Rio. The problem and the beauty of these alternative urban structures were the motivation in my latest works to reflect on the current situation in the Favelas.
